Shirley Wood is a Personal Stylist working in Brisbane. She holds an Arts degree and Certificate of Teaching (Secondary), certificates in Style and Image Development and Flow Colour Analysis, and numerous accreditations. Shirley's business name "Be Your Best" clearly states her passion in life: to help others to be the very best they can be; to lead happier, more confident and effective lives.

Shirley was a special guest presenter at the Craft Expo held at the Brisbane Exhibition Centre, South Bank, March 24 to 27, 2011.

“ Thank you so much for the time you spent with me on the selection of my colours, styles and makeup. My confidence has been restored in so many ways from choosing clothes, accessories, makeup, hair style and colour - you name it! For the first time in years I am wearing makeup on a regular basis, assured that it suits me and is current. Yep! this was an "Ah-ha" experience for me and I now know why my wardrobe was "wear all the time" or "bought and never worn". I always carry my colour swatches with me and refer to these and the style guide constantly. I am even getting back into making my own clothes, selecting patterns and materials that I know will suit me.
